Cut The Pentagon is a coalition of groups that have been working on raising awareness and educating on the Pentagon budget for decades. Every single year, the Pentagon budget increases despite never passing an audit or doing anything meaningful for working people in the United States. We realized that many of our elected officials are in the pockets of companies like Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Raytheon and other private contractors that receive nearly 50% of the one trillion dollar budget. We think that money should go back to us in the form of investments in education, healthcare, housing and other things that would materially improve our lives. We deserve transparency and overall, we deserve a lot better than what we are getting.
