The White House & Congress are set to pass a $1.5 trillion budget for the Pentagon this year. This budget will wreak havoc on communities and ecosystems worldwide. While our people desperately need funding for education, food assistance, housing, and healthcare, this budget gives a massive handout to billionaires and corporations. We demand our taxes fund our communities, not endless war. It's time to cut the $1.5 trillion Pentagon budget and reinvest in the people and planet.
Congress is starting the process of finalizing that bill now. It’s important that we write to them early and tell them we want them to vote NO on the final bill, and fund life affirming programs instead.
