Cut The Pentagon: Launch Event

Let's Cut The Pentagon! For People, Planet, Peace and a Future!

Join us, 20 years after the response to 9/11, to launch a daily campaign to Cut The Pentagon!

We need you to cut the Pentagon with us, and brainstorm ideas for direct actions in DC and around the country. Cut The Pentagon is a coalition of groups with a commitment to be in the streets with rallies and peaceful direct actions, as well as educating the public about all the ways that militarism affects our lives. We will be organizing actions every day - exposing individuals and companies that profit from war, pressuring Congress and the administration to join us, making common cause with the positive causes that deserve more tax dollars, lifting up the stories of those most affected by militarism and U.S. imperialism.

We will have a teach-in in front of the White House, followed by a march to McPherson Square to serve the unhoused from the cuttings off the Pentagon. Ben & Jerry's will be donating ice cream!
